Barbara Hines, known for her whimsical interpertation of island life, allows the environment to have its own voice... a voice bathed in
shape and color.
Barbara's work can be found in several of the island galleries - Island Gallery West and Artists' Guild Gallery (both in Holmes Beach) as
well as in various art festivals on the island and at the Sun House Restaurant in Bradenton Beach.
Barbara also takes a serious look at our island environment and volunteers her time, energies and legal expertise in protecting the land, air, water and the creatures
whose world we share.
